  2. Craig,

I usually don't disagree with you, but I don't think it is the spending that is worrying Independents. It is the perception that the money is being spent on the worng things. They are seeing trillions go out for war and wall street without making any changes in their lives. Their retirement funds have been depleted, many of the smaller banks have been taken over, the feeling is that DC is some foreign country that doesn't really give a damn about the 50 states they are supposed to serve.

Greed is Good has come crashing around their ears and they blame everything in power not just Obama. If they blame him at all is is that "Yes We Can" seems to have become, "We might get around to it eventually".

  3. Ah !
I just finished the best idea I ever had ...... !

Little tiny parts like Swiss watch makers. ...... get up from your screens , and go to work.

    God do I love PVC.

34 years of thinking about PVC.

This is the one seed I've been waiting on, I'm so glad it fell off the tree.

I will publish my results to back - up this bullshit shortly . It's really very cool , and I am damn proud of it.

  4. "they blame everything in power not just Obama."

Jamie, I sure do agree with everything you said in that post, including the part about most people not blaming Obama, but instead blaming everything in power. They still want that change they've been asking for, and are trying to get it anyway they can.

And this: "the money is being spent on the wrong things. They are seeing trillions go out for war and wall street without making any changes in their lives"

  5. Hey folks, I have a random question...let me preface that I'm sick with a high fever...

If Noah was told by God to have 2 of everything to replenish the earth after the great flood, does that mean God condoned inbreading? After all, don't you need 21 different animal to replenish an area with enough genetic diversity...

I'm sure it ties into the right wing trying to regain power...I don't know...I'm off for cough syrup and nyquil I guess...

  20. Virginia & New Jersey – GOP Wins Governor Races.

Obama had better learn leadership and judgment before 2010. Obama needs to change a number of his advisors, especially his Goldman Sacks Wall Street loving economic team.

While the Congress must vote on and pass the legislation, Obama's major mistake was to let Congress and the likes of Nancy Pelosi, Barney Frank, Charlie Rangel, Harry Reid, Chris Dodd, and Max Baucus design the entire legislation. The Obama administration should have provided the substantive framework, if not the first draft, of any legislation. His administration has not even attempted to restore the 1999 gutted, under Summers and Clinton, key provisions in the 1933 Glass-Steagall Act.

Obama and his administration deserve an "F" for Leadership on the Health Care Issues, Jobs, Stimulus, Reducing Foreclosures, Improved Regulation of the Banks and Wall Street, and Closing the ERON loophole from Oil Speculators. What are your gas prices now? What will the unemployment rate be on Friday? Above 10%?

Obama is a great campaigner but is showing he has poor judgment, is a lousy manager, and is not a leader. He only does well when he goes into campaign mode.
