Hi UB...
I could have put a couple of other links to the link I left on the last thread about a Police State and the Military being assigned to NorthCom, however no one seems to really care that it could actually happen here.
With Bush trying to start another War by invading Sovereign Nations {Pakistan, Syria} what do you or anyone think will happen if they end up firing on our forces and possibly bringing down another Black Hawk or perhaps worse yet killing some of our men in uniform?
Will we see the start of World War III when that happens and end up with a total collapse of our economy?
And don't think that Bush wouldn't use Military troops against American Citizens because he just don't give a F**k about the American People.
Anyway it really doesn't matter anymore. Were screwed and its our children who will end up paying the price for our complacency.

Just a bit of irony, I heard that a book written by Bill Ayres years ago, Ayres dedicated to Serhan, the man who killed Robert Kennedy. Yes I did hear it on Hannity so you can check it out to see if it is really true.
Well off to bed.

"The investigative report at Zombietime has uncovered an old, almost-forgotten book written by Barack Obama's associate Bill Ayers called Prairie Fire.
Interestingly, the book lists Sirhan Sirhan, Robert F. Kennedy's assassin, on the dedication page."

What an OFFENSIVE post! "Serhan"? C'mon, not even close on the spelling there.

I am now ready to post my delegate count for the electoral college. It is slanted a bit...two states are barely slanting for Obama, and I gave them to Obama.
Obama will win with 315 electoral votes. This is a landslide!

As I noted yesterday on the WorldofSpike blog, signs that the Obama lead may not be as solid as some may have predicted could be observed by changes in his travel schedule this upcoming weekend. As noted today in the New York Times:
"After a late-night rally on Friday evening in Indiana, Mr. Obama heads Saturday to Henderson, Nev.; Pueblo, Colo.; and Springfield, Mo. He is scheduled to make a three-city fly-around on Sunday. And on Monday, he is set to dash through Florida, North Carolina and back here to Virginia."
As of today on the Intrade.com Presidential Futures Market by State trading contracts, Colorado and Nevada have just surpassed the 80% probability level for winning each state. Missouri is still a dead-heat. Obama may be losing strength in Florida and possibly in Virginia. Though he has picked up strength in North Carolina over the last week, a win there is not yet in the books.
McCain seems intent on either winning or losing the election based on the results of Ohio and Virginia.

Is there nothing, at long last, that these republicrumbs will not stoop to doing ?
Since when is hannity a dependable source ? This slimebag was a source of the 'Obama is a Muslim' story, among his other wretched attempts to smear the man. hannity was a big promoter of the swiftboat liars from hell. Let's face it, hannity is a creepublican infomercial that markets lies and nutty ideas to gullible dopes.

Obama's interview with Maddow, ---> the "Smart Grid" comment.
There are 2 players who are pushing this, Silicon Valley people, & T. Boone Pickens.
Posted by: Anon | October 31, 2008 3:30 AM
" One of, I think, the most important infrastructure projects that we need is a whole new electricity grid. Because if we're going to be serious about renewable energy, I want to be able to get wind power from North Dakota to population centers, like Chicago. And we're going to have to have a smart grid if we want to use plug-in hybrids then we want to be able to have ordinary consumers sell back the electricity that's generated from those car batteries, back into the grid. That can create 5 million new jobs, just in new energy. "

A Last Push To Deregulate
White House to Ease Many Rules
Those and other regulations would help clear obstacles to some commercial ocean-fishing activities, ease controls on emissions of pollutants that contribute to global warming, relax drinking-water standards and lift a key restriction on mountaintop coal mining.

From Fivethirtyeight -
" Due to the huge change, Republicans are left scrambling to challenge the validity of votes by apparently finding anyone who will agree to sue:
The strong Democratic turnout has Republicans mulling possible legal challenges. “We question whether these are valid registrations,” said Smith, the Washoe County GOP chairwoman.
While talking to Smith, she was interrupted by a cell phone call, which she inadvertently put on the speakerphone. It was the state GOP executive director Zachery Moyle, and the two discussed what could be done about the tsunami of Democratic Party registrations.
“I’m looking for people to sign on to a lawsuit,” Moyle said to Smith, who fumbled with the phone while turning off the speaker. “You didn’t hear that,” she said glancing in my direction. "
