While Franks was involved with Moses, the majority was with Republicans who held all the chairmenships. Franks did not have the power to make policy and many things proposed in the committee died in the full house or in the Senate that wanted nothing to do with regulations.

Once control passed to Republicans, some regulation was able to get through but vetoed by President who wants nothing to do with Regulation.

tony, i was just talking about gloating when Obama wins, Not to all of TM. Just to a couple who do nothing but bash Obama and all his supporters. I have no beef with TM, been posting here for nearly a year now. But a couple people here can get awfully nasty with Obama supporters and it gets quite tiresome. What I posted on BC was not at all hateful. Snarky, yes. Hateful, no way.
