From Last thread
Warren
" think all the more important for Barack to win "
What bothers me is that none of the Obama supporters can point to what he has DONE as some sort of hint for what he is likely to DO
Something as simple as attendance at his subcommittees. If he doesn't have time to do the work he is supposed to be doing now, why should we expect him to work harder as president?
Posted by: jamie | February 4, 2008 4:15 PM
I just wanted to jump in now because I have never done so so early in a thread. I will have to wait til Wednesday morning my time to find out results from the super Tuesday.
Good night.

On CNN now
Obama says he will have all troops out in 16 months, but will "reserve the right" to change if conditions change.
Clinton has said that she will start removing troops in 60 days, but cannot put a permanent time for full removal because she had to deal with circumstances as they arise.
He claims that this is a different plan than hers. HuH?
Wolf just did the "will you meet with enemies" Obama, once there has been preparation yes. Clinton says that she will meet with enemies once diplomatic channels have been opened.
He claims this is a differen plan than hers. HuH?
All he does is echo what she says she will do and then says his plan is different. HuH?

Blonde wino,
I saw a pic of your governor hosting his old boss for a superbowl party. I think he shoulda grown that beard when he was campaigning. Looks good on him. Clinton was wearing a suit and tie, and for some reason it always creeps me out to see men wearing a suit an tie while watching a sporting event.

Blonde..doesn't "creep me out" to see someone watching a sporting event in a suit and tie...I'm tired of seeing so many Americans looking like slobs at sporting and other events..recently attended a funeral where people were wearing, tanktops, shorts, etc..

dnd, I'll be hangin'.
OD, the dem delegate distribution was obviously designed by a committee. Looks like it came out of the same committee that designed the elephant. I have to say that I have been under the opinion lately that the Democratic party leadership has been working overtime to have the party reflect anything BUT democratic ideals.
Blondie, I like the looks of things in NY - Cal is getting a little too close for comfort - the good news - Obama may win Cal, but the delegate count between him and Hillary will be close there. Overall, I think Clinton will take 60% of the delegates up for grabs tomorrow. But I don't bet on football games for a good reason.

When I met BR, I was surprised how tall he is. He also is a very funny man -- sort of reminded me of Buddy Hackett in conversation. (I have this problem identifying everyone I meet with a famous person...I used to love SPY magazine because they sort of did that with photos, separated at birth?, that sort of thing)
The beard changes the Buddy Hackett lookalike for me.

Okay I put in a Cafferty. I never know if they will use one, but if you hear Janet in Tacoma saying the far right hate machine will be out no matter who the Democratic candidate is and the rest of the party will be glad to turn it over to the Democrats and see if they can fix the mess left by Bush.

OD, I used to go to the occasional Alabama football game with myuncle when I was a kid - aroudn 10 years old. I had to dress up - coat, tie, the whole shebang. By the time I hit college 8 years later, going to the same Alabama football games I wore t-shirts and jeans. The fratboys - at least the pledges - still wore ties to almost all games, and the rest of the fratboys wore suits to the homecoming game - try that in Alabama when it's 90 degrees. I have to agree some people take casual too far, but I always wondered why the hell I had to wear a tie to a football game.

Do you have HDtv? Matthews actually drools or spits or something like that when he starts getting excited when talking about BO. I just can't bear to watch anymore. Tucker makes me insane. When he was bow tied and on CNN, Hillary was so kind to bring him a "shoe" cake instead of a real shoe to eat....like most, he mistakes kindness for weakness.
One exception is Craig...adorable Craig. He always makes me smile and I forget I am watching BONBC.

I saw Hillary deliver the shoe cake..she was very gracious as usual.
I've always figured that Tucker must have pictures of somebody. That would be the only explanation for his being employed.
About IMUS..In past years I would listen to him..I have tried the RFD show..My conclusions about him include:
1. His good works (IMUS Ranch, etc.) don't justify insulting comments which he has made for many years..
2. He attacks people who are reluctant to appear on his program. (who can blame them)
3. Many of his regulars (Fineman, Kerry, LIeberman) were never "one of the boys" and feel better after appearing on what they think is cutting edge programming.
I gave Imus another chance last week and only watched for a few minutes as he made vulgar, insulting comments about President Clinton.

Hillary is in real trouble in Cal and this morning's national poll had it a 41-41% lock...we were told over a year ago we'd know both nominees after 2-5 and here we are...McCain set to wrap it up tomorrow and Clinton will add to her delegate lead, overall...but will it be over ?

Jamie:
I will tell you why I believe Obama will be a more effective candidate. To be frank - it is a question of style rather than substance. I do not accept the premise the Obama lacks substance. We can go round and round on this - and I stand on his 11 years as a legislator, the knowledge set forth in his books, and the fine campaign he has run, including going toe-to-toe with Clinton is the last debate - which according to most objective analysts was a tie.
The reason I place substance second - is because as most agree - there is not a stark contast when it comes to what Barack and Hillary want to get done. Moreover, all of the policy points that Hillary makes can easily be adopted by anyone who wins the presidency. It is not as if she has some type of patent.
So I the end of the day - my decision is based on who I think can make more progress on those initiatives - and I believe it is Obama. His style is about everyone coming together to tackle these problems. He realizes that the problems this country faces is not the sole responsibility of the Republicans - but it is also due to the partisan gridlock that obstructs progress.
Hillary comes of to many in the following light: "The Republicans have screwed this country up, and I need to come in and clean this country up." It can appear arrogant and dismissive to a large part of the country. I think Republican law makers will place road blocks in her way - even if they agree with her - in order to pander to a based that is hostile to her. I also think the debate on her policies will not focus on the real issues - but degenerate into catch phrases like "Hillary care" and "surrender."
Obama will of course not be immune to all of this - but I think his ability to wipe the slate clean and increase post-partisan efforts is a tangible difference that Hillary cannot replicate.

I do not think the Republicans will lay down but if you think Obama will face exactly the same amount of resistance as Clinton - then the debate is over.
Judging from what I see in the media and people I talk to - I have come to a different conclusion on this point. Indeed, Clinton supporters are always talking about how the media is so "easy" on him. Well, I do not think that is a coincidence - I think Obama gives people something else to talk about besides the normal cynicism and partisanship we have grown all too used to.

"Hillary comes off as" ... says who? This is the line of the right win hate machine.
Where it is important, in The Senate, she has a solid record of working across the aisle with Republican counterparts to come up with legislation that will pass. Again, (sheesh! this is uncanny!) Blond wino posted my thoughts...just wait until the Swift Boaters, 2008 model, kick in.
Sturgee posted that all McCain did was lose a multi-million dollar jet over Vietnam , spend years in prison camps, and become a senator and presidential candidate.
And lost in all the piousness a McCain candidacy will bring wil be the fact that McCain was part of a killing force that was dropping bombs over Vietnam resulting in contributing to the death toll of Vietnamese, civilians included.
No one will dare bring up this fact, and no one will mention that the returned POWs were called "Pig O Ws " by the radical left, here in the US.
Merchant of death McCain was, no doubt about it. Also, no doubt this will be turned into "Fighting for Liberty", Hero for Freedom...on and on.
And the same people who say McCain is a hero will tarnish the Dem with MADE-UP stories of drug-dealing, probable infidelity, lying, coercion, corruption...all kinds of twisted accusations. This is how they operate. I have seen it, you have seen it, we all know it's how repuggs roll. Be ready.

I am not talking about Senators - I am talking about middle America. Don't lend you support blind you to the negatives that are a reality - justified or not.
I could use your same argument about George Bush. He received bi-partisan support for the war in Iraq. That does not mean that he is not a divisive and polarizing figure.
As an Obama supporter, I do my best to answer charges about his so-called lack of experience and substance. But anytime I raise this argument about Hillary being divisive - it is brushed aside because it resulted from the Republican attack machine.
Well unfortunately, those attacks worked on a lot of people . . . and I do not support Clinton as the nominee because I have not heard a good answer about how to deal with this perception.

On the other hand facing Hillary, the republican far right will be frothing at the mouth and going so bonkers that they might not be able to think up anything new about her that the public has not already been innoculated against.
She is the better candidate in the general. They know how to beat Obama, they aren't so sure about how they beat Hillary.

Before I read the comments I wanted to say something. When I was growing up I was told to never talk about religion or politics unless I knew what those with whom I was speaking had the same views.
To all who continue to say that Barack Obama's message is pie in the sky and clouds and other silly things because it lacks substance or facts I say this.
I think I have already made it pretty clear that I consider myself a Christian so let me ask you this.
If I were to follow your path of reasoning than I could have possibly not been a Christian. Why is that? Well for one thing I would want to see facts that Jesus was real and not someone made up by someone. After all to accept Jesus one would have to have faith that He truly exists.
After all He taught peace, hope and love. He inspired those who followed him to build His Church through His teachings. And like any other religion those who believe in their God does so based on faith and written work of those whom followed there own God.
Just because you reject what you feel is empty words does not make it so. Any more than an atheist who does not believe in a God and don't accept the Bible or other religious Tomes as proof that a God actually exists does.
If Jesus could inspire the people to believe in Him and build His Church than why is it so improbable that Barack Obama can not do the same thing and lead our country in a new direction with the people behind him helping to do it?
End of rant. Now I'll read the comments.
Take care and God Bless.

You would have to have faith that all those actions took place based on what others told you he had done. You would have to believe their testimony of ACTIONS.
The two conditions don't equate. Obama is asking you to have faith that he will eventually get around to performing ACTIONS without anyone ever providing testimony that he had or would.

Remember the good old days when Pat Buchanan used to scare the livin crap out of everyone every 4 years? Then the past few, the party -- yes, THE PARTY -- started talking like Pat used to.. now THAT's scary!

There is one Muslim congressman who did swear-in using the Koran and that is his right in America. And I am not offended by that in anyway. It is his America, too. And that is what America is! Our tolerance is what defines us and I don't care about BO's inspirational message as much as I care about the issues. Maybe some of us our so starved for inspiration that we have to look for it in other people instead of ourselves.
I really think it is about being an American not religion or lack of religion.

But Jesus didn't create a church only the movement. It took Paul to creat the Church. Without Paul there would be no christianity. For movements fade as the excitement wears off.

So the friendly skys of United now wants to charge $25 - $100 for the second checked bag, claiming the cost of jet fuel is forcing it to do this. Since only one in four passengers check more than one bag, the needle on dnd's bullshit detector is in the red. What United doesn't tell you is that they make a ton of money hauling mail, and your bags are taking up valuable space.
This is what happens when you have oligopolies and government tie ins to hub and spoke airports.
I won't fly United unless it's an emergency. They've ruined DIA and air travel.

Blondewino -- (Love your name, btw) On the previous thread you wrote:
"You have figured out why there are so many home schoolers out there."
What did you mean by this? If you meant that homeschoolers are typically X-tian conservatives who loathe the public schools, then please allow me to provide the following information.
As homeschoolers, my family has always supported Democrats and consider ourselves to be progressive. We work on campaigns as a family and enjoy the freedom that homeschooling allows so we are able to travel and work on progressive causes. We seem to have a lot of homeschooling friends who have a political philosophy similar to ours.
The statistics on homeschooling reflect that the majority do so to to provide their children with a better education, not for religious reasons. http://nces.ed.gov/pubs2006/homeschool/parentsreasons.asp
I strongly support public schools -- not because I'm a direct user of public education, but I am an indirect user, benefiting from living in a community with excellent public schools. I am not the only homeschooler in my community and state like this.

"The two conditions don't equate. Obama is asking you to have faith that he will eventually get around to performing ACTIONS without anyone ever providing testimony that he had or would."
At the time before Jesus was crucified there was not to much testimony that he did either. And those who did were not believed by the majority. Also one has to remember that the Bible was written by men and how they interpreted the teachings of Jesus.
"You do sound so very sweet, but last time I checked the democratic boat we had Atheists, Jews, Muslims, Scientologists, Hindi, Christians, etc. aboard. That is what make us democrats...and the repugs laugh at us. Remember James Watt. He has several proteges still lurking about the repub party (Gale Norton),
That's true Blonde wino and thats one of the Differences between the Democratic Party and the RFN's. By the same token those in power who have power never want to give it up. No matter what the citizens of their country want them to do and were elected to do.

That is a lie. He was sworn in like all the rest of the Congress. He later had his picture taken with Pelosi were they both had their hands on a Koran.
Here is a portion by a fellow blogger linked on my site who just wrote about this.
"Is it true that Obama was sworn in using the Quran instead of the Bible? No he did not, nor did Congressman Keith Ellison, as is widely reported in Y!A. During the official swearing in ceremony for all Congressmen, they don't use the Bible or anything else, they just raise their right hands and repeat the oath as its dictated. Congressman Ellison, who is indeed a Muslim, later posed for a photo op wherein he and Nancy Pelosi put their hands on a Koran once owned by Thomas Jefferson, a slave-owner and sex partner of slave Sally Hemmings."
You can read the rest of his post here.

And your point is?
If this is how she was inspired what's wrong with that. This is not about religion. I used Jesus as an example of a leader inspiring others to work for the good of all mankind, not just the few with wealth and power.
We all have are own thoughts and beliefs about the candidates running and we all are entitled to our opinions. If you or any others don't feel the hope that he speaks of then our country is indeed lost and I may as well resign myself to America The Fourth Reich which is what we have now.
I don't mock you choice and I find it offensive that not only are we belittling those who feel different in their choices, but are doing the same thing the RFN's do to their own.
We should not be putting anyones candidate down and I don't think I have really posted anything negative about Hillary except how I felt her campaign had turned into a campaign that you always see coming from the other side.
And I'm not the only one to think this. Anyway, I wish your candidate the best and we will all know come November {that is if we have elections}.

there's a difference between religion and faith... one hopes we all have faith in something..even if it's in ourselves.. religion is the grouping of faith.. of common worship... I find comfort in thinking .. for thousands and thousands of years, people have lain on their backs, stared at the stars, and pondered their origins... and the basic tenets of all religions are simply the beginnings of civil law.. how to get along with each other.. it IS a good idea NOT to kill, not to steal your neighbour's wife or horse (notice it was all property anyway)... I think it's interesting that "they" included "honouring your father and mother".. cos.. it just says to me that children have always, ALWAYS rebelled.. :)

"'There is one Muslim congressman who did swear-in using the Koran and that is his right in America. And I am not offended by that in anyway. It is his America, too."
The Quran that Rep. Keith Ellison (D-MN) used is from Thomas Jefferson's own library, even better since Mr. Jefferson's Monticello is in Rep. Virgil Goode's (R-VA) district (Goode being the MC who made the loudest, and nastiest protest about using the Quran in a swearing-in ceremony even to the point of introducing legislation dictating that all swearing in must be done with a Bible.)
My nieces and nephews are named Karima, Omeran, Ahmed and Nadia. They are quite American (eligible for CAR membership) and devoutly Muslim. My neighbor's kids are named Yasmeen, Emeer, Ameen. They are typical American kids who like to play kickball in the cul-de-sac with the hoards of other neighborhood kids -- who happen to be WASP, Latino, Asian, African-American, and Jewish. Is this a great country or what?!

You people need to wake up. You are the ones underestimating the Republican attack machine. You have lulled yourself into a false sense of security because Hillary argues she is a “known quantity,” that she has been vetted and she is still here. Yes. She is here with high negatives and a large block of voters that will not vote for her or simply don’t like her, even if they are completely mistaken and misinformed.
More importantly - the fact that the Republicans have already used some of the attacks that will be thrown her way during the general does not act as some type of magical cloak that will eliminate the effectiveness of such arguments in 2008. We don’t need to speculate about Republican attacks – they are already making them.
The GOP will argue that Hillary’s position on the Iraq was has been based polls rather than principle. And they will have ample support. No matter how effectively she can argue against this – it is simply a conversation she does not want to have. And it has been McCain’s message in winning the Republican primary. They are building this message and they could have the middle of the country running to the straight talk of a war hero who has shown great political courage throughout his career.
McCain also holds the trump card on experience. What will Hillary run on in the general without the “experience” argument? Change? McCain will be able to make a more credible argument that by ending the Bush-Clinton-Bush dynasty - he is the true candidate of change. I don’t know about you - but that case will work with plenty of Independents. Especially coming from a maverick like McCain who is lambasted by hyper-partisan pundits from his own party.
Indeed, it is very likely that because many Americans have made clear that they want to move past the political hang-ups of the nineties – these familiar attacks on the Clintons will carry even more weight in the current political scene.
But imagine the contrast Barack will be against McCain. A young inspiring leader speaking about a new direction vs. a 70 year-old Bush loyalist promising more wars. That is what the debate should be about – and the Democrats win that one in an election they cannot lose. Trust me – there is no question which way I will be voting in 2008. This year – it is Democrat all the way.
I think Hillary would be a great President. But she has a greater risk of losing the general, and partisan gridlock and the GOP would make her administration less effective than Obama’s can be. Obama will also result in more Americans being involved in the political process leading to more public service.
Thank you and good night.

I respect your opinion, do we have to qualify every single comment into minutia so that no one gets all high and mighty and defensive?
If I had said that opinion to you respectfully in person, I doubt we would have any issue at all.
Sometimes the power of the (written) word takes on much more value on the web then in real life. In real life, real people stumble on their words at times, but that shouldn't make their opinion worth less.
The internet, if anything, is going to do more to loose this campaign for Hillary. The younger voter is more in tune with it, and more connected then any niche blog here or anywhere.
From my view: OBAMA is bringing voters together. While Hillary supporter are more focused on being "right".

Hillary is talking about health care. A tax credit is crap. After you complete your taxes the amount of difference in your tax liability is minimal at best.
I found this out when it became required to have a Social Security number for your children to get a tax deduction for the children as dependents.
I refused to get one for my daughter because after I did my taxes both with and without a dependent my tax liability was only about one hundred dollars to get a full tax deduction with a dependent than without a dependent.
Also if your single how will you take your tax credit? Unless you can go long form with a lot of deductions and meet the criteria for the percentage your allowed after figuring what you paid over than you can not take the deduction.
That's a bogus premise so a tax deduction will not help many millions who have no insurance or are under insured.

You're right go negative. That has worked so well in the primary elections. And your argument is that she will fight even harder. This is falling into their trap.
The GOP will want to pick a fight - Hillary will fight just as hard as she did in the primary and it will back fire. Voters - at least the people in the middle, us swingers - don't like the negative bullshit even if the bases eat it up.
Hillary is the GOP's only hope.

A tax credit directly either decreases what you owe or increases what you receive in refund.

So OD...
Does that mean that a family of three who makes just below the poverty line and who will end up maybe not owing any taxes is going to get a check from the IRS for a medical credit?
On that premise wouldn't it cost the rest of the tax payers millions of dollars to give them this tax credit?
Forty Five Million uninsured is the last figure I heard. So how much will each person\family receive to cover those who pay no taxes and can not afford health care?

Anon,
The details haven't been worked out yet, but the basics (with a lot of juggling around as needs dictate)
Everybody goes into the pool of insured people.
All insurance companies would be required to provide some sort of basic plan (negotiations here as to coverage, deductibles, price etc.).
Because there would be over 300 million people in the pool with healthy offsetting ill rather than current cherry picking, the cost should be significantly lower than most plans now.
Cost of insurance could be paid by employer, individual, or government entity depending on income and status of the insured or any combination of the three.
Businesses and individuals would receive some sort of tax break equal to their premium . Those below poverty incomes would be paid by local or national funds in much the same as medicare.
Those are the basics but there's a lot of hammering to be done on the building.
Posted by: jamie | February 4, 2008 9:59 PM

I will also have to submit to searches of my body and baggage if I try to fly anywhere in or outside the United States. AP It would take me a book to explain SS to you, first as to how it was supposed to be compared to what it is now. :-)
Cliff Notes Version"
Initially it was to be run as an insurance program. (everybody into the pool ... lots of people dying before 65 with no dependents ... plenty of money earning interest left over to pay retirees).
Government hates money just laying around becoming more money so we will just trade this bond here for that money there and put that money there into the general fund and promise to pay SS back later.
Not a Good idea. Along comes Baby boom. Lots and lots of money pouring in to pay very few retirees. Excess gets moved to general fund and replace by this i.o.u.
Baby boom starts to get old, not as many workers coming up behind. Government has stolen money ... oops SS going broke.
Ponzi scheme has replaced Insurance Fund... what happens to Ponzi Schemes when you no longer have enough people coming in the bottom to pay for the guys at the top ... CRASH

I'm actually fine with Real ID except that our governor has refused to do it as an unfunded mandate. If the Federal government wants all driver's licenses and I.D.s to be compatible with a Federal system, then they can create a budgetary item to pay for it.
It actually makes sense. You can travel all over Europe without a passport if you have an ID issued by the European Union. At some point it is bound to happen at least for Canada and the U.S. (the new passports will carry scanable ID information and holograms).

BOB KNIGHT ,BASKETBALL COACH, RESIGNS
February 4th,
2008
11:08 pm
Loved him, hated him…I became a huge IU fan when he came to Indiana.
I was in attendance in 1976 at the Philly Spectrum and also in 1981, same place, to see him guide his teams to national titles.
In 1976, I was so exuberant I jumped over the scorer’s table and was first to congratulate him as he moved to shake UM coach Johnny Orr’s hand…Knight didn’t like that and shoved me away with a curse and another one…easily seen on all old clips from that night…then I realized what an ass he was when he kicked Mike Miday off the team for attitude problems, then the Puerto Rico incident where he assaulted a security guard ..by that time he was a national joke and an embarrassment to IU alumni.
Finally Miles Brand had the courage to boot him out of Bloomington. His act was coarse and he acted like he was insane, and he was plain rude, as when Don Fisher, longtime IU radio man, attempted to interview him before games…he would be silent or chide Fisher on his “stupid” questions. The only one that really understood him and in so writing about how good he was for IU , let us know a bit about the coach, was longtime Bloomington Herald-Telephone writer Bob Hamel.
I’m glad to see him off the stage.

I was furious that Bobby Kennedy jumped into the 1968 race after my man Gene McCarthy showed well in NH...RFK had promised not to challenge Lyndon, then he did.
After April, when Lyndon bowed out, that would have been OK, but I hated him for his timing. That, and other factors, ended any real McCarthy challenge.

I remember the fervor to end the war 40 years ago...today? It's buried on page 4, or squashed totally.

Dexter. You might not remember this, but Oregon supported Gene McCarthy in our primary in 1968.
I remember Bobby Kennedy speaking at my high school during the primary fight just days before his horrible murder in Los Angeles.
It was such a complicated time with such horrible results.

Oregon Dem: Yes, Hillary was great on Letterman.
I only know one person in Oregon, a fellow Army medic from the war days in Vietnam.
He had a job secured in Rochester, NY, by his dad at Eastman-Kodak. He worked there two weeks and then loaded up his old green VW Bug , his vinyl records and turntable, and his incredibly beautiful lady friend, and headed to Eugene, went to school to grab some credits to become a Physician's Asst., and has lived in Eugene these last 36 years. He loves it.

I had forgotten that OR went for Gene McCarthy...good for them.
I grew up in Indiana, a repug state, but they did elect couple Dem governors, Matt Welsh and Evan Bayh.
Oh...my fave restaurant in Fort Wayne was Zoli's , a Hungarian place. When RFK came to FWA, Mr Zoli fixed up a nice lunch on fine china and the parade just stopped and the plates were delivered to the limo...RFK ate a few bites and resumed his pose waving through the open top of the limo. VERY DANGEROUS, but OK that day.
FWA was also the city where Vernon Jordan was badly wounded in an assassination attempt. I had driven the exit ramp where the shooter was hiding only a couple hours before the shooting. it was by the Marriott on the north side of Fort Wayne.

Dexter..I hope you can visit your friend in Eugene sometime. I live in Salem, just down the road from Eugene. Oregon is a wonderful place, beautiful and politically progressive.
I notice on this site that emotions run high sometimes.
My parents taught me that it was my responsibility to serve the community and that it was my responsibility
to be active in politics.
I have been very disheartened with recent elections. I gguess we just need to keep fighting for what we believe is right. Sometimes we will win, sometimes we will lose..but at least we have fought hard.

Well, anybody is better then Bush...I just watched "The Last King of Scotland"...hell, Idi Amin couldn't be worse than Bush43!
I spent a year near Monterey, CA, and a few weeks in Fort Lewis, WA...but never got a chance to visit OR..good idea.

Good Morning Everyone.
Happy Trails today! Likely you will still have to keep prozac and valium in your medicine cabinets.
Just remember, its not over till its over.
Frankly, if you leave Political Pundits out of this, its been a great race and watching both camps has bee a pleasure.
I can't remember a time where so many Democrats were armed, ready, and honed political. Their strategies brilliant and the chess board exciting.
Been great. Whoever wins will absorb the best of the best from the other campaign. Its going to be a hard fight with the Republicans, But we are ready.

good morning, Sheila and Craig
I'm just hoping the discourse here will be at a higher level today. I know I've said this time and again, but the personal attacks are disappointing, and I wish, rather than "did not" "did, too" arguments, that posters would cite sources and offer links rather than get in the mud.

Good morning Sheila and colleen.
I got into it a little last night too. Oh well, that's politics for you.
Have a good day. Have to get off now, at work. See you all later.
Take care and God Bless.
