Boxer's favorable-to-unfavorable ratio is 50 percent to 47 percent with 3 percent unsure, and the lesser-known Fiorina is seen unfavorably by 35 percent, favorably by 30 percent but has 35 percent of voters who don't know enough about her to be sure.
While incumbents polling below 50 percent are viewed as vulnerable, Rasmussen says "a Democrat running in a heavily Democratic state like California is often able to overcome weak poll numbers."

Neither of these women's styles or politics appeal to me, but Fiorina is much easier on the eyes. She'll have my vote if it comes down to her and Boxer.

For ONCE, billp, I agree with you. Although, I saw a old picture of Barbara Boxer when she was, if I remember correctly, on the Marin County Board of Stupidizers and she looked pretty hot at that time, circa late-1970's.

Hopefully neither Boxer nor Fiorina is hot enough to cause any more rightwing Christian Republicans to stray from their wives or their church.

I am urging my friends in California to take a serious look at Fiorina who I believe will bring, a background from the corporate sector to the U.S. Senate. Coupled with practical experience, her election, at a time of challenge to California's economy, will bring a breath of fresh air.
