What would it be like if America actually had a president who knew how to write and speak?
After watching Sen. Barack Obama's brilliant speech this morning -- and seeing reports that he actually wrote it himself -- it makes you realize that a president can actually inspire an entire nation. It's been a long time since we had someone who could do that.
Just Asking...

I'm pretty sure President Bush knows how to write and speak. Great political insight.

I'm not so sure...putting food on your children...I believe that's a comment attributable to our illustrious president.

"I'm pretty sure President Bush knows how to write and speak."
Ok, so perhaps TG should have included the word 'intelligently' so as to be completely accurate.
"What would it be like if America actually had a president who knew how to write and speak INTELLIGENTLY?"
Though, even left as it is....Bush's speaking ability leaves much to be desired. 'Much' being an understatement.

I have a calendar on my desk that brings George Bush's ability to speak into serious doubt.

Taegan: Obama not only reads and writes, but thinks too. And thinks out of the box.
It's inevitable we will end up with a better president this coming election. I so hope it is Obama, though.

He's certainly not inspiring me. Do you still have to genuflect as you walk into his rallies?
