Courtesy of Carla Marinucci's blog at the San Francisco Chronicle, here's video of Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., being hounded on, of all things, whether she changed the music played while callers to the Capitol are on hold from patriotic standards to smooth jazz.

Is there something inherently unpatriotic about smooth jazz? Does it threaten national security? Not likely. You can even play the national anthem at major American sporting events in smooth jazz style.

Of course, the controversy's already over, according to blogs on the left and the right, as the patriotic music was restored this morning.
