A couple of quick thoughts on health care and cars, or, if you will, the "health car" system:

1. Perhaps the government should institute a cash-for-clunkers program for health care in which a consumer can trade in her lackluster health plan for a subsidy to purchase a "Cadillac version."

2. At the same time, a "death panel" could be created to kill inefficient old cars.
