Tale of the DNC Buttons
Wandering around the Pepsi Center, I found some memorabilia stands that are not yet open to the public. There were various bumper stickers, "Democrats are hot! Have you ever heard of a hot piece of elephant?" But most conspicuous were the various campaign buttons for sale. There were a few Barack Obama buttons and one Michelle Obama button, but the rest all made use of Hillary Clinton's image. Also absent, any buttons or memorabilia featuring Joe Biden:

I'm not sure what the point is.
We aren't Republicans. We aren't drones that practice blind devotion to a single chosen one. We think. We're passionate. We encourage alternative viewpoints. We honor those that work to restore our country.
What a great year. We had two candidates that turned this election upside down. We had two candidates that made history. They both deserve due credit.
So, you might only see McCain buttons at the Republican Convention. An aging out-of touch politician.
How sad is that?
