The National Republican Congressional Committee has tapped TV and Radio Host Sean Hannity to address their annual fundraising dinner this March, according to two sources familiar with the situation. The dinner is scheduled for March 23 at the National Building Museum.
Rep. Fred Upton (R-Mich.) and Rep. Virginia Foxx (R-N.C.) have signed on to co-chair the dinner, which officials claimed brought in more than $6 million in 2009 with Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal (R) as the headliner.
This cycle, the NRCC needs a big fundraising haul from the dinner more than ever -- even though the political climate favors the GOP at the beginning of the midterm election year. With only $2.67 million in the bank at the end of 2009, the committee only has a sixth of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee's $16.7 million bank account.

This actually makes quite a bit of sense. As many Republican members of Congress seem so completely devoid of their own ideas and opinions that they have to resort to parroting what they hear on National Hate Radio or Fox "News," it stands to reason that they would get a far-right media personality to headline an event of theirs. As Hannity is the kind of person who gives them their lines anyway, they might as well hear them straight from the horse's mouth, rather than hear them regurgitated by someone else.

Is this dufus ever going to be waterboarded as he offered to,
thereby proving it is not torture?
A very doughy man.

Is Hannity being paid as much for his time as Sarah Palin is being paid by the teabaggers? I will not make as much in one year as he makes in less than one hour. And I do real sweat work.
