About Beyond the Dome

David Nather Beyond the Dome is a look at the White House race through the eyes of Congress -- a chronicle of the various angles and subplots created by the first presidential campaign in history in which both major parties' nominees will be U.S. senators.  Their records, the substance of their proposals, the impact on the congressional agenda, the dilemmas faced by their colleagues, and the view of the campaigns from Capitol Hill will provide unique perspectives to round out the coverage of the 2008 presidential race.
